Description:

Protein G is a protein in the cell wall of Streptococcus, which can specifically bind to the FC segment of immunoglobulin IgG. It can not only be combined with all IgG subclasses of human, mouse and rat, but also with IgG of guinea pig, rabbit, goat, cow, sheep and horse. Protein G has a wide range of applications. It can be used to separate and purify or remove IgG from serum and ascites, purify monoclonal antibody and isolate antigen antibody complex. The natural protein G is composed of several similar domains. Under neutral condition, it has a high affinity with Fc fragment of IgG. With the decrease of pH, the affinity gradually weakens. However, it still needs a very low pH to separate IgG from protein G. for example, it needs ph2.5-3.5 to elute IgG from protein G medium, and it is easy to aggregate and inactivate some antibodies.

EE prog optimizes the domain of natural protein G, maintains the affinity in neutral condition, greatly reduces the affinity in acid environment, makes the antibody easier to dissociate and elute, and the general antibody can dissociate at ph3.5-5.0.
